OUR STORY

Over 50 Years of Moving Water

Fountain Place has been building, installing and repairing fountains and aeration systems since 1967. For five decades that work has been hands-on - designing water features, sizing aeration for ponds and lakes, and rebuilding equipment on a bench in Markham, Ontario.

Fountain Depot is the sister company that took that same expertise online. We are an authorized Kasco dealer and repair centre, and we carry Aqua Control, AquaMaster, Aquascape, Danner and Little Giant alongside it. The advantage is simple: the people specifying your equipment are the same people who install it and repair it when something fails at year eight.

We ship across Canada, and we size every system before it leaves. If a smaller unit will do the job, we will tell you.

Ryan Trollope

I am Ryan Trollope, the owner and lead designer at Fountain Place Company. Over the past 17 years I have had the privilege of learning from top designers, consultants and contractors in the water fountain industry. I started by building water features for residential clients and later enhanced my skills studying under Richard Van Seters, focusing on both system design and environmental impact for commercial water features.

In 2007 I joined Fountain Place Company as lead designer and installation contractor. Six years later I became the proud owner. I am passionate about the entire process, from design and installation to maintenance and specialty equipment.

As our experience and client base grew, we expanded into e-commerce through Fountain Depot, allowing us to provide high-quality fountains, aeration systems and equipment directly to clients across a wider market. This online platform is built on the same expertise, ensuring customers receive trusted products backed by real-world experience.
