Every water feature on this page is one of three experiences. A full pond is the living one - fish, plants, an ecosystem in the yard, and the seasonal rhythm that comes with it. A pondless waterfall is the sound and movement of falling water with the reservoir buried out of sight - no standing water, minimal maintenance, safe around small children. And a fountain bowl or spitter is the weekend-scale version: a sculptural piece on a hidden basin that turns a patio corner into the best seat in the garden.
The reason to buy these as kits rather than parts is compatibility. An Aquascape pond kit arrives with the liner cut generously for the footprint, the pump matched to the BioFalls, the skimmer matched to the pump, and the plumbing between them - the exact mismatches that stall a first build are engineered out before the box ships. The same is true of the pondless waterfall kits, where the AquaBlox reservoir is already sized to the stream length.

Either way, send us the footprint and slope and we will confirm sizing before you commit, because upsizing a stream after the fact is a dig, not an exchange.

Pond, pondless or fountain bowl - the choice sets the maintenance, the footprint and the budget. Here is how to decide.

Choose a pond if you want fish, plants and a living ecosystem, and you are willing to take on the seasonal routine that comes with it. Choose pondless if what you want is the sound and look of falling water with minimal upkeep - the reservoir is underground, so there is no standing water and far less maintenance.
Pondless is also the usual answer where small children play in the yard.

The full system: liner and underlayment cut for the footprint, the pump, the skimmer and BioFalls (or the vault and AquaBlox on pondless kits), plumbing, and the fittings between them - all sized to work together.
You supply the hole, the rock and gravel, and a weekend or two. We can add lighting, bacteria and an auto-fill valve to the same order.

Backyard pond kits run from roughly 6x8 up to 21x26 feet, and pondless kits are sized by stream length - 16 or 26 feet in the deluxe versions. Fountain bowls and spitters need only a few square feet over a buried basin.
Measure generously: the finished feature always reads smaller outdoors than it did on paper.

They shut down for it. Pumps come out, bowls and urns get covered - we stock fitted fountain covers for the Aquascape bowls, spheres and urns - and ponds with fish switch to aeration or a de-icer for gas exchange.

Yes, and we would rather do it before than after. Send the footprint, the slope and a photo of the space, and we will confirm the kit size, flag anything the site adds (elevation changes the pump duty), and quote the whole build on one order.
