Three facts decide almost everything

Surface area
Roughly how big the water is, in acres or in feet by feet. This sets horsepower and how many units the pond needs.
Average depth
Decides whether a surface unit or bottom diffused aeration is the right approach, and how much of the water column you will actually turn over.
Distance to power
From the water's edge to the nearest panel, and what service is there — 120V, 240V or three-phase. This sets cable length and panel spec.
Commercial sites carry considerations a residential pond doesn't: position spray patterns so prevailing wind doesn't drift water onto walkways, patios or parked cars; pick pattern height against sight lines from the road and the main entrance; plan the lighting circuit with the fountain rather than after it; and set a run schedule that balances presence against operating cost. Larger fountains need 240V service, with three-phase options on several lines where campus power allows.

What does a fountain add to a commercial property?
A running fountain is the most visible feature on most commercial sites. It signals an actively maintained property and masks traffic noise near seating areas.
It also keeps the pond circulating, so algae and odour do not undermine the landscaping investment around it.
Can a commercial fountain run on a timer?
Yes. Kasco control panels with timer functions schedule the fountain around business and evening hours.
That manages electricity cost while keeping the fountain running whenever people are on site.
How do we keep spray off walkways and parked cars?
Pattern choice and placement handle it: narrower, lower patterns near paths and parking, taller displays where the pond has room, and positioning that accounts for prevailing wind.

What power does a commercial display fountain need?
Smaller units run on 120V; most commercial display fountains run on 240V single-phase.
Several fountain lines are available in three-phase configurations where campus electrical service allows. We spec the unit and control panel around the power you have.
