Fountains & Aeration for Hotels, Resorts & Event Venues

Fountains & Aeration for Hotels, Resorts & Event Venues

Display fountains, LED lighting, aeration and water treatments that keep feature ponds clear and photogenic through the full guest season - planned around your booking calendar, not the weather.

Hotels, resorts & event venues

On a guest-facing pond, downtime costs more than the fountain.

A commercial campus can live with a bad water month. A venue cannot. An algae bloom the week of a wedding is a refund conversation and a review that stays up for years, and it arrives without warning — which is why the equipment on guest-facing water is chosen for reliability and service response, not for the few hundred dollars saved on the unit.

  • We size the system before we quote it — against your actual surface area, depth and distance to power. Free, and no obligation.
  • One quote covers the display and the evening — fountain, light set, control panel and cable length, priced in CAD, so the lighting circuit is planned with the fountain instead of after it.
  • We service what we sell. Authorized Kasco dealer and certified repair centre in Markham, with genuine parts in stock, so a mid-season failure doesn't become a mid-season outage.
  • A real number back, usually within one business day. Not a brochure, and not a "starting from" range.

What happens after you hit send

Most suppliers in this category send you to a contact page and go quiet. Here is exactly what we do instead.

STEP 01

You tell us about the water

Surface area, rough depth, and how far the pond sits from power. If you don't know, say so — photos and a satellite screenshot are usually enough for us to work from.

STEP 02

We size the system, free

We match horsepower and pattern to your actual pond, check the electrical, and flag what causes trouble on a venue: spray drifting onto a ceremony lawn, or a pattern that reads badly from where guests stand for photographs.

STEP 03

You get a real quote in one business day

Specific models, pattern, light set, control panel, cord lengths and delivered pricing in CAD — the documentation an owner or a GM needs to approve a capital purchase.

The cost of leaving it

Guest-facing water has no off-season

Every other part of the grounds can be maintained between bookings. The pond is in the photographs, and it has to look right on every day the property is open — on a schedule set by the calendar, not the weather.

A bloom on a booked weekend

Green water and surface mats arrive on their own schedule. When they land the week of a wedding or a conference, there is no maintenance window left — only the conversation about what the guest was promised.

Odour and mosquitoes at dinner service

A pond that stratifies goes anaerobic at the bottom and starts to smell, usually over the patio in the evening. Still water near an event lawn puts mosquitoes exactly where guests are standing at dusk.

A dark pond after sunset

Evening is when venues earn their reputation, and an unlit pond simply disappears from the property at the hour receptions run. A fountain that stops mid-season takes the view with it.

How we size it

Three facts decide almost everything

Have these ready and we can usually specify a system the same day. Don't have them? Send photos and we'll work it out from there.

Surface area

Roughly how big the water is, in acres or in feet by feet. This sets horsepower, pattern height and how many units the pond needs.

Average depth

Decides whether a surface unit or bottom diffused aeration is the right approach, and how much of the water column you will actually turn over.

Distance to power

From the water's edge to the nearest panel, and what service is there — 120V, 240V or three-phase. This sets cable length and panel spec.

A venue pond carries considerations a corporate pond doesn't. Sight lines and camera angles come first: where do guests stand for photographs, and what pattern height reads best from there. Then wind drift relative to patios and ceremony areas, sound — falling water usefully masks road noise near dining terraces — and scheduling, where a timer runs the display through guest hours and lighting takes over at dusk. Larger display fountains need 240V service, with three-phase configurations available on several lines. Water care belongs on the same schedule: a season-long programme rather than a rescue applied the morning of an event.

We specify from the Aqua Control Evolution Series for sculptural patterns such as Tornado and Spider & Arch, Select Series fountains and AquaMaster Galaxy Select Series fountains across a wide pattern range, and Kasco decorative fountains for smaller feature ponds — larger units configured to order on horsepower, pattern, voltage and cable length. Evenings are handled with Aqua Control LED light sets, AquaMaster LED lights and commercial fountain lights, matched to the fountain line. Underneath the display, surface aeration or diffused aeration stops the pond generating problems in the first place, with beneficial bacteria, pond dye and algaecides applied per label through the season. For courtyards and entrances, decorative water features, spillway bowl kits and pondless waterfall kits add moving water without open pond maintenance, and waterfront resorts protecting docks through winter should read our marina and dock de-icing page.

Before you buy

Frequently asked questions

Run a season-long program rather than a last-minute rescue: continuous aeration, beneficial bacteria through the warm months, pond dye for consistent colour, and any algaecide applications planned ahead of the booking per the product label.

We can lay out the program around your event calendar.

Yes. LED light sets mount with the fountain and illuminate the spray pattern for evening service and photography.

Options vary by fountain line, so tell us which fountain you are running or choosing and we will match the light set.

It does not have to. Pattern choice, spray height and placement relative to prevailing wind keep the display where it belongs.

Tell us where guests gather relative to the pond and we will recommend patterns that stay put.

Falling water reads as ambience rather than noise at typical pond distances, and many venues use it deliberately to mask road or HVAC noise near patios.

Pattern choice controls the character of the sound - taller geysers are more dramatic, lower patterns more subtle.

Smaller decorative units run on 120V; most display fountains run on 240V single-phase.

Several lines offer three-phase configurations where site power allows. We spec the fountain and control panel around the service you have.

In most of Canada, display fountains are removed and stored for winter - a good time for service and any repairs at our authorized Kasco repair centre.

Waterfront venues protecting docks can run de-icers or circulators through the freeze instead.
