Overview
Genuine Kasco J series impeller. This is where the J series makes its pressure — an enclosed impeller rather than the open propeller used on VFX and de-icer units, which is what lets it push a tight, high-volume display.
Sand and grit are what kill them. The vanes wear gradually, so the display softens over seasons rather than failing outright — if the pattern isn't what it was two years ago and the nozzle is clean, this is usually why.
