Genuine Kasco VFX discharge disc. The disc is what turns a column of water into the V-shaped pattern above the surface — chipped or warped, the pattern goes lopsided long before the motor gives you any warning.
It's also the most common casualty of a unit hauled out and set down hard on a dock, so inspect it at every pull.
