Kasco “V” Pattern 8400VFX Aerating Floating Fountain (240V) is a high-water-volume display aerator designed to create a dramatic fountain pattern while improving circulation and oxygen transfer. Built with 2 HP, it is ideal for large ponds and lakes requiring strong aeration and visual impact.

Purpose. The VFX line produces a single wide V pattern built to move water and drive oxygen exchange. The J-Series is a display fountain with five interchangeable patterns.
If the unit is going in because the water has a problem, VFX is the right line. If it is going in to be looked at, start with the J-Series.
Yes. Every VFX ships with a matched Kasco panel - C-25 on the 120V models, C-85 on 240V single-phase, C-95 on the 5.1VFX and CF-3235 on the three-phase 2.3VFX.
Not on deep water. A surface unit works the top few feet; below roughly eight feet the column can still stratify through a hot Ontario August.
On deeper ponds pair it with diffused aeration, or run both on larger water.
Surface acreage and average depth first, then the voltage and phase available at the site.
Send us those numbers and we will spec the horsepower and cord length before you order.
Yes. Like any floating unit it should come out before freeze-up. Ice will damage the float and can shear the unit.
For winter water movement, use a de-icer instead.
Two years on the 2400, 3400 and 4400 models, three years on the 8400VFX, 2.3VFX and 5.1VFX.
Worth noting the 5.1VFX carries three years where the equivalent 5.1JF carries five - Kasco warrants the two lines differently.
